Hollister is a quaint community of just under 5,000 people located south of Branson between Lake Taneycomo and Table Rock Lake. Hollister is home of the number one rated public golf course in Missouri, Buffalo Ridge Golf Course. The course is more like a rolling work of art nestled atop the Ozark Mountains and designed by visionary conservationist Johnny Morris and renowned golf course architect Tom Fazio. At the heart of Hollister is the Downing Street Historic District, which is listed on the National Register of Historic Places.
